Next to the Reko Mountain in the Kochere region of Ethiopia, sits the Reko washing station. The name Reko translates to challenge in the local tongue, Afaan Oromoa, which is symbolic of the challenge it takes to climb to the top of the Reko Mountain. The embodiment of this challenge can be felt among the team at the Reko washing station as they take on the challenge to produce the best Yirgacheffe coffees in the area. Reko coffee is no exception to this with its pronounced florals, soft delicate fruits and balanced sweetness. It represents our love for the origin of coffee.
