Tolima is famous for its steep mountains, deep valleys and abundant water supply. All of these combine to create ideal growing conditions for coffee and other agricultural products. The growers of the Rioblanco Municipality have made great leaps to consistently produce high quality coffee and are always seeking new ways to improve that quality. Current production techniques include slow breeze drying, manually removing defective beans, careful picking of mature cherries only and specialized tree care.
This coffee from Rioblanco reflects the hard work and intentional production efforts of the farm. Expect a balanced cup with orange and cherry acidity and a lingering brown sugar finish throughout.
