ON COMMUNITY

Since 2013, La Palma has fostered meaningful relationships with over 100 coffee-growing families in the surrounding area, partnering with them through a relationship-driven business model called Neighbors & Crops. This program has changed the lives of many coffee producers in Colombia, inviting them into a collaborative and inclusive partnership wherein their coffee is picked meticulously, processed expertly, and elevated to a quality standard that was previously unattainable.

ON QUALITY

The Sardi's and their team have worked tirelessly to improve farming practices throughout Colombia, while also developing several proprietary processing methods at their state-of-the-art wet mill at La Palma Y El Tucán. They pioneered anaerobic processing methods in Colombia years ago - and still produce arguably the best anaerobic washed coffees we've ever tasted! All of this effort results in higher prices and greater sustainability for the coffee farmers with whom they've partnered, thus circling right back to their vision of "better" for the community surrounding them.
